Welcome to the 6.111 Mentor Graphics Homepage. The Mentor Graphics Tool Suite is a set of powerful digital design tools that allows you to create and test your design at the schematic level. This site provides on-line learning and reference material that a 6.111 student may find helpful when working with the Mentor Graphics Tool Suite. The following is a list of resources that a student can refer to:

bullet Tutorials

Detailed step-by-step introductory tutorials with lots of screen shots on various topics. Recommended for new users.

bullet F.A.Q.

A collection of text answers and references to questions a 6.111 student may have when working with Mentor Graphics. There are no screen shots, only some ASCII art.

bullet Bold Browser

The whole Mentor Graphics documentation. Not recommended unless you really can't find the answer anywhere else. It is verbose and difficult to navigate, but in theory, you would find the answer to your question somewhere in here.

bullet Email

This page is currently being maintained by Wandy Sae-Tan. If you become desperate, email me at wandy@mit.edu and I'll try my best to answer or pass it onto the rest of the Mentor Graphics team.

bullet Newsgroup

Is there a newsgroup? If you find one. Please tell me.
